Entities are the foundation of your compliance data. These could be manufacturers, importers, or any relevant party responsible for your products.
Navigate to the "Manage Entities" Page:
- From your dashboard, go to the "Manage Entities" section.
Add a New Entity:
- Click the "Add Entity" button.
- Provide the following information for each entity:
- Name: The name of the manufacturer or importer.
- Address: The physical address as required by GPSR.
- Contact Information: Any additional contact details, if applicable.
Save the Entity:
- Review the details and click "Save" to store the entity in your system.
Repeat this process for all manufacturers or importers associated with your products.

Once you’ve created the necessary entities, the next step is to associate them with your products.
Navigate to the "Manage Products" Page:
- From the dashboard, go to the "Manage Products" section.
Find the Product:
- Use the search or filter options to locate the product you want to update.
Link the Entity to the Product:
- Select the product and click "Edit Compliance Data" or a similar option.
- From the dropdown menu, choose the appropriate entity (e.g., manufacturer or importer) to associate with this product.
Save Your Changes:
- Click "Save" to finalize the compliance data for the product.
Repeat this process for each product in your catalog to ensure all items have the required compliance data.

- Use the Bulk Editing feature to update multiple products at once.
- Regularly review your entity and product links to ensure compliance data remains accurate and up-to-date.
By following these steps, you’ll ensure your Shopify store meets GPSR compliance standards, protecting your business and building trust with customers.
