- Log in to your Shopify admin account.
- Navigate to Online Store > Themes from the left-hand menu.
- Locate the theme you want to edit and click Customize.

- In the Theme Editor, use the page selector dropdown at the top of the screen to navigate to the page where you want to add the app block.
- For example, choose a Product Page if you want to add compliance data to product pages.
- Once on the desired page, look for a section where you can add app blocks. Common sections include Product Information or Custom Sections.
- Click on the + Add Block button within the section where the app block should appear.
- Scroll through the list of available blocks until you find the app block for the GPSR Compliance Manager.
- The block name might be labeled as GPSR Compliance Widget or similar, depending on the app.
(If you can't find the app block - read our troubleshooting guide below)

- After adding the block, you’ll see customization options in the right-hand panel of the Theme Editor.
- Adjust the settings to control how compliance information is displayed, such as:
- Manufacturer Details
- Warnings and Safety Instructions
- Batch and Serial Number Information
- Save your changes once you’ve configured the block to your liking.

- If you want to change the position of the app block, drag and drop it within the section to reorder it.
- Make sure it appears in a logical position that’s easy for customers to see, such as near the product description.
- Click the Preview button at the top of the Theme Editor to see how the app block looks on your store.
- Test the functionality by viewing the live page and ensuring that the compliance information displays correctly.
When you’re satisfied with the app block’s placement and functionality:
- Click Save in the Theme Editor to apply your changes.
- Visit your live store to confirm the app block is working as expected.

If you're using a vintage (v1) theme in your Shopify store, app blocks may not be supported natively. These older themes don’t have the dynamic sections required to add app blocks directly through the Theme Editor.
